Day 54 - Wilderness State Park to Ellsworth Michigan

I rode with Dan and Zoe today. It was fun to have some riding buddies for awhile.
Dan an Zoe are catching a flight to Fargo for a wedding and then getting back to their tour in a couple of days.

Rain on and off today. Kind of seems to be the trend for the next few days.

There were some really neat towns along the route today. Harbor Springs was nice.
We made camp in Ellsworth for the night. We had to pay but it was only 7 bucks per tent.

The weather started getting bad soon after we got in the tents. We decided to head to the restrooms for cover till the storm passed. The camp host came in and told us that this line of storms wasn't the worst one on the radar.

It wasn't supposed to get really bad till 3 or 4 AM. So, we made the call to spend the night in the restrooms. Dan and Zoe took the women's and I got the mens. I should have crowded in with them in the women's. They always smell better:)

At about 4 the heavy storms arrived. I was happy to be just where I was.

Home for the night. All the comforts of home. If I could have just turned off the lights it would have been perfect.
